    By the way, any rum recs for Dark and Stormy's that are a bit different? Would love to update that drink a bit.

  2. You know Tom Gjelten wrote an interestiing book called Bacardi and the Long Fight for Cuba. You might want to check that out.

    I recently found a rum from Hawaii called Kōloa Kaua`i Dark. I thought about getting a bottle and trying a new D&S with it. I'll let you know if I toy with that. You should also check out the Rusty Root on this blog - it's basically a D&S subbing the rum for Root liqueur.
